    @ApneaImages I’m sorry that this has happened. Especially, being as it is the one scent you used. I’m sure you feel you are missing something. Try to find one from a trusted source on ebay or something with the silver writing underneath Fahrenheit. That would probably be the easiest and safest one to get, because it’s the most recent one before the current reformulation.

    This was my signature, and the only one sent for the last 15 years! The new one feels nothing like the real thing. Kind off a light sport modern version but nothing for me. Sad as it was a part off me. So i totally get you!! If one day you find a original version send one to me to!!

    @femmy321 I appreciate that. Call it what you will. I just wanted to talk about my favorite cologne.

  5. femmy321 says:

    @Prophecy23JC, thanks. By the way, this was an awesome presentation or review should i say.

  6. Prophecy23JC says:

    @femmy321 “sundry” had to look that up. You learn something new every day.

    I liked 32.. It was nice. I think the orange blossom is what deterred me from buying. Even though, I am not saying that I won’t every buy it. Cause, I do really enjoy it. Its a very nice vanilla. Its just hard for me to take vanilla for 8 hours sometimes.
    There is nothing like Fahrenheit. Damn good cologne indeed.

    My ex-girlfriend liked the “32″. I like this big time. i have gotten crazy compliments from all and sundry. Now, this my fourth bottle- not consecutively because i broke the trend with “Play Intense”. Intense is good, but not near Fahrenheit. This is a damn good cologne.

    @bachatuuu Hmm.. Interesting. Maybe thats it.. I got more eathy grass out of the older version. Maybe thats why I feel the older one is more grassy.
    And, the new one.. I could see more gasoline-ie. My explanation was that the new one is more like a clean motor oil. Where as the older one was more of a used motor oil. Not like that sounds pleasnt. : 0 p

    @Prophecy23JC
    I just re-smelled it. Its not so much clean grass but mixture of Gasoline and grass. Now heres the thing, the old one, I remember the note was more petroleum like as opposed to gas. But a good petroleum. The new one gives me more of a gasoline like note on top w grass which is very sharp, kind of harsh and synthetic, not to mention cloying. Some reviewers talk about this top note, I think tim’s review (tswetcoff )describes it best

  10. Prophecy23JC says:

    @bachatuuu You get more grassy out of the new version? I didn’t get that. But, I got the rest. Good way of putting it.

  11. bachatuuu says:

    As I was watching this review, I have smelled the new fahrenheit and closed my eyes, making a real effort of remember what the old stuff smelled like. I can say the top to middle is what is really different on the old and new stuff. The new version: Somewhat soapy, floral, more grassy, even kind of harsh that can be cloying. The old stuff was a beauty from top to bottom, no soapyness nor harsh synthetic note. More syrupy in a good way , certainly leathery.

  12. bachatuuu says:

    Hey I was sporting this in high school, too in 1997,. I first smelled in 1994 and agree that it was something different and a thing of beauty way back when. When I restocked on it recently I was disappointed and noticed it did not smell the same nor as deep as the original. I may indeed go out looking for the original or one of the older versions

  13. Prophecy23JC says:

    @unhallowed45 Alot of emails to ebayers seeing which one they had. Cause, majority of people have the new one, but have old pictures. It was a big pain in the ass. And, then I lucked out on it not being spoiled. I have a video of the things I went through. Between asking fragrancenet to make sure what box they had, an then it being the new one once it got here anyway.. To receiving a fake new bottle in the old box on ebay. ..even though it was wrapped in plastic and everything.

  14. unhallowed45 says:

    How’d you score the old formulation, bro? You’re a lucky man haha

  15. Prophecy23JC says:

    @Prophecy23JCBlahBlah What kind of fucking moron watches videos that they think are too long.. and then makes fake accounts.. Fake accounts were so 2008. lol Get a life. ..Garbage ass.

    oh yea! few days ago i went for a trip to cameron highlands (located at east malaysia), famous for its tea plantation.

    Fahrenheit played a good role for me. The mossy scent reflects the cool tropical forest of 12 degrees celcius at the highland, the sweetness reflects my cup of tea while dining strawberries and flowers at the cool hill top, and the gasoline kind of reflects my of my driveway on the hill top.

    Even at 10 degrees celcius, fahrenheit still projects, and last even longer =)

    @Prophecy23JC

    you’re welcome. And by the way, I don’t really ever get on basenotes, but what kind of hateful stuff were they saying?

  19. Prophecy23JC says:

    @jreily88 Thank you. I appreciate that.

  20. jreily88 says:

    I smelled fahrenheit once, and it must’ve been the new formulation, because I didn’t get any type of petroleum feeling like everyone says they get. The smell, to me, was very plain and generic. Great review by the way.

  21. Prophecy23JC says:

    @SyyncreBot Thanks for the info, Bot.

  22. Prophecy23JC says:

    @Bindimbu No, its like that with the old one as well. Not so sweet though. lol I’m glad to hear that the new formulation can be worn when its hot. And, I’m sure other people are as well. Thanks for the great feedback. I enjoyed reading it. Great info and well put. Thank you.

  23. Bindimbu says:

    Fahrenheit changes the whole scenario in the fragrance world, its rebellious, its on its own, and it made other fragrance ‘jealous’.

    I agree with you, I live in a tropical country, and seriously, this is very versatile in hot and cold weather (maybe because of the new formulation).

    Apparently when it is cold, its scent is mossy,green, gasoline like.

    But when it is hot, its more sweet, honey and flower-woody like.

    But that’s to me =)

    You made me got interested in finding the old one =p

  24. SyyncreBot says:

    @Prophecy23JC
    Bot agrees with you. In fact Bot put DSquared on (2 on the neck), and Fahrenheit on the wrists to do a comparison just last weekend. You hit it, Dsquared is a lighter more floral version of Fahrenheit. Normally Bot likes light and fresh but for some reason the Deepness in the Fahrenheit made it much better. DSquared became cloying.

    There’s Fahrenheit.. then there’s the rest of them.
